The coffeeberry extraction process
Commercial coffee production is generally propagated by seeds. Traditionally 20 coffee seeds are placed in each hole at the start of the rainy season. Most of the seeds will naturally die off, but those that survive will grow into plants that will be ready for harvest in four years.

Coffeeberry, the active antioxidant in the Revaleskin products, is extracted from the coffee cherry, which is the external fleshy shell surrounding the coffee seed. In order to maximize the concentration of antioxidants the coffee cherry is harvested before it is ripe.
