QUESTION:  I had a Cosmelan1 mask treatment done in a clinic, continued with Cosmelan2 at home, but stopped after eight days.  Could I re-start with Cosmelan2 again (it's been nine days since I last used it)?

D'LYNN'S ANSWER:  Yes, while for best results you should complete the entire regimen without stopping, you can start using the Cosmelan2 cream again.  I am not sure where you had the Cosmelan1 treatment done, but we tell our patients to expect flaking, redness and peeling for about three weeks and to continue using the Cosmelan2 until it is gone.  It can be a difficult process to endure, but it is well worth it as we have seen great results with this treatment.
